The New Sub-Tropical Rehabilitation Birdroom and Aviary

On completing phase 1 of our project, we renamed the bird room construction "The New Sub-Tropical Rehabilitation Birdroom and Aviary".

About the new construction

NLPR applied to fund-giving foundations for help in building a new parrot house. We would like to express our gratitude to the following organisations who made this possible:

Three Cheers All Round for NLPR vegan 'Pale Ale'!

We are delighted to make this announcement. Colleen Seymour and Frank Walsh, personal friends of Julie and John Hamilton and long standing supporters of NLPR, launched their new brewery business in 2006 at St Jude's Brewery, and are sponsoring this ale, specially concocted for NLPR. NLPR will receive 25% of the revenue raised from the sale of each bottle. To our knowledge, this is the first ale in the UK designed to help raise money for an animal charity. Not only this, NLPR ale is made using an ethical green system, as with all ales made by St. Jude's Brewery!

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Colleen and Frank for this sponsorship. All at NLPR wish them well in their new venture! We are delighted and have high hopes of it reaching its full potential.
